Third Time Just As Lucky

A well-established interior designer, co-founder of the super luxe Hill House Interiors, Jenny has a string of high demands – namely quality, craftsmanship and service.

‘Having brought up my children in two wonderful large Octagon family homes, it was time for me to ‘rightsize’. I needed a more compact home, suited to my own needs, but it had to be light-filled and spacious, so I can entertain and put up friends and family. When I heard that Octagon were taking on the Broadoaks Park site in West Byfleet, I immediately contacted them, to see if there would be a house on plan which might have my name on it. The development ticked so many boxes for me. It is within a short drive of my studio and showroom in Weybridge, and equally important, when I need to get into London, it is just a short walk to West Byfleet train station, with a fast service into Waterloo as well as being just one stop to Weybridge.

The town centre has the all essential Waitrose and a string of lovely independents, including an excellent fish shop.

As I will be living mainly on my own, it is also reassuring that I will be part of a new ‘village’ community, and as well as relaxing in my own South-facing garden, I will be able to enjoy strolls through the communal grounds.

‘I knew interest generally to buy at Broadoaks Park was high, so as I trust the Octagon company to always deliver a high-quality property, I felt confident in making the decision to buy off-plan. So, mind firmly made up I reserved quickly!  I do believe I was the second buyer there to have exchanged, and now of course, I am counting the days until completion, as I cannot wait to move in!
