Move in for Christmas

As we draw closer and closer to Christmas, the excitement of getting into your brand-new home before the big day reaches new heights – and we’re delighted to be rounding off several Octagon Bespoke developments before the end of the year, with clients already moving in and decorating their fantastic homes.

One stunning project recently completed is a a 9,000 sq ft, four storey family home located on the banks of the River Thames. While the front of the house has all the classical good looks – period style iron railings, white rendered exterior walls, large sash windows, elegant portico entrance – of nearby historical homes, the rear of the home is thoroughly modern, with full height glass windows offering uninterrupted views of the River Thames, and the family’s private pontoon. While perhaps not the season for kayaking on the river, we hope the family enjoy spending time together in their new home this festive season.

Also decking the halls on one of the premier roads in Northwood, Greater London, a couple who have recently moved into their 6,500 sq ft, three-storey, six bedroom/bath Bespoke home. Small details make a huge impact in this magnificent detached home, with coffered ceilings throughout the ground floor reception rooms and a large window spanning the length of the spiral staircase flooding the home with light, finished in a classical red brick façade. With a focus on entertaining spaces, the open plan kitchen/living room flows seamlessly into the formal dining and drawing room via glass doors – this December will no doubt involve plenty of gatherings for family and friends.

Looking towards the new year, we are progressing well at Broadoaks Park in West Byfleet, our flagship site of 125 homes in the picturesque Surrey village. With almost 50% reserved on our first phase launch, will be looking to release further homes in 2020 as it continues to be a key focus for the brand. Next year will also spell the launch of the on-site marketing suite, and our very first residents will begin moving in from spring, another key milestone for the 25-acre development.

The new year will also bring with it three new team members here at Weir House, as well as number of exciting new projects in the pipeline, which I cannot divulge just yet, but look forward to revealing in the next few months – watch this space!
