27/09/2019

Following the official launch on Saturday 14th September, an impressive 10 reservations were made for homes in the first phase at Broadoaks Park, Octagon Development’s new flagship site in West Byfleet.

Attended by over 350 guests, the reserved properties include Listed 2-bedroom apartments through to new build family houses, reflecting the high demand for the full range of homes at the brand new development.

The first release in Octagon’s collection of 125 homes includes two bedroom apartments, three/four bedroom terraced houses, and detached five/six bedroom family homes. Alongside high-quality new builds, a Listed Coach House will be meticulously restored and converted into 6 apartments – all offering a unique opportunity to purchase a piece of the development’s extensive history.

Tim Banks, CEO of Octagon Developments, comments: “We were thrilled with the number of people who joined us for the official launch of Broadoaks Park at the weekend, which has already led to an impressive number of reservations.

“As well as interest in the luxury family homes Octagon are well-known for across Surrey, we were delighted with the reception of the sub-£1m homes, bringing our brand to a whole new mix of buyers. Our initial reservations have come from young families and couples through to local downsizers, indicative of the diverse community looking to make Broadoaks Park their home.”

The 25 acre site and historic buildings date back as far as 1876, when Ernest Seth-Smith built Broadoaks Mansion on the site. Descending from a long distinguished line of Scottish architects responsible for building large areas of Belgravia, from Eaton Square to Wilton Crescent, Broadoaks was designed as the ultimate country retreat. The surrounding lodges and summer houses were since added over the following 40 years, bringing further gravitas and character to the mansion.

Finished to Octagon’s customary excellent standard, each home will be fitted with high specification fittings, including bespoke kitchens and contemporary bathrooms. High-tech fittings include RAKO mood lighting controls, automated garage doors and underfloor heating throughout.

Broadoaks Park is set in 25 acres, with the new, low density flagship development located minutes from West Byfleet’s village centre and train station, which runs regular services into London Waterloo from just 28 minutes.

Within walking distance, West Byfleet town centre has a Waitrose, and local independent cafes and restaurants, whilst the Basingstoke Canal and Wey Navigation provide picturesque walks.

Guide prices for apartments and houses in phase one range from £625,000 – £1,850,000.
