Purpose of Role

We are currently looking for a Technical Coordinator to join our expanding business and technical team. The role will consist of working across our bespoke and development projects in and around London and the Northern home counties. Reporting directly to our Technical Manager you will be responsible for coordinating the production of the project working drawing information to ensure the progression to site is in accordance with the programme. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and industry renowned company working of some truly exceptional projects

Key Responsibilities

  • Tendering, selection, appointment, and co-ordination of all consultants required to deliver a full working drawing package of information prior to handover to the Commercial/Build teams
  • Delivery of Technical information to the wider Production Team in a clear, comprehensive, and timely fashion and in line with the project programmes.
  • Provide technical assistance in the production/obtaining of Pre-Start information.
  • Submission of information to discharge Planning Conditions.
  • Registration and approval of Building Regulations.
  • Submission of information required by Building Warranty provider.
  • Attendance at monthly Project Review Meetings to report on progress of delivery of technical information.
  • Checking and sign-off of supplier production drawings to maintain progress in accordance with the Build Programme and ensure the Design concept is delivered.
  • To be active in R & D of all aspects of the Technical department.

Key Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the industry
  • Technical knowledge in the residential market as well as an understanding of Design Intent
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge on AutoCAD and PC  skills essential- particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • A hands-on, can-do approach to work
  • Ability to multi-task- strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good telephone manner
  • Punctual, reliable, and flexible
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent personnel skills and be resourceful and innovative thinker
  • A supportive team player
