Purpose of Role

We are currently looking for a surveyor/senior surveyor depending on experience to join our expanding business and commercial team. The role will consist of working across our bespoke and development projects in and around London and the Northern home counties. Reporting directly to our Commercial manager you will be responsible for project procurement, cost control, liaising with clients and working closely with key stakeholders and supply chain. This is an existing opportunity to join an established and industry renowned company working on some truly exceptional projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue tender documents for all subcontractor packages
  • Analyse returned tenders ensuring that all bids are compliant with drawings, specifications and budgets
  • Issue and manage subcontractor orders
  • Undertake monthly subcontractor payments
  • Monthly cost reporting to both internal management and client
  • Chairing monthly project meetings and distributing information thereafter

Key Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the industry
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • PC skills essential- particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint and ideally Coins
  • A hands-on, can-do approach to work
  • Ability to multi-task, strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good telephone manner
  • Punctual, reliable, and flexible
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent personnel skills and be resourceful and innovative thinker
  • A supportive team player
  • Driver with their own vehicle
