Purpose of Role

The role of an FF&E procurement & Installation Coordinator requires high levels of organisation, attention to detail and precision. As well as needing experience in a busy interior design studio, you will be juggling a variety of different responsibilities as well as liaising with supplier, clients and build teams. This is a fast-paced role supporting others as well as needing to be self-driven requiring a positive attitude and proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • To organise the purchase of FF&E items for numerous projects across the department
  • Supporting to Interior designers by helping with schedules and project organisation.
  • Collate supplier quotes, update client quotations, produce supplier purchase orders, monitor payments, and lead times as well as assist with delivery and installation of those items.
  • Checking and confirming orders prices and specifications and lead times
  • Arranging deliveries and collections with the client, courier companies and property management in accordance with project schedule
  • Generating schedules for FF&E products and decorative finishes
  • Project management producing schedules, managing lead times, deliveries, Installation, and dressing.
  • Arranging deliveries and collections with the client, courier companies and project management in accordance with project schedule
  • Filing copies of proforma’s orders, supplier invoices and credit card payments
  • Coordinate storage, deliveries, and installations
  • Being on site when needed for deliveries and product checks

Key Skills

  • Previous office experience within the industry
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • PC or Mac skills essential- particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint and ideally EstiPC
  • A hands-on, can-do approach to work
  • Ability to multi-task- strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good telephone manner
  • Punctual, reliable, and flexible
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent personnel skills and be resourceful and innovative thinker
  • A supportive team player
  • Driver with their own vehicle
