Octagon Interior Design Team Expands

Octagon’s decision to create an in-house interior design department in early 2020 is already reaping benefits, as increasing numbers of clients are choosing Octagon to help them with their decorative and furnishing requirements. The long-term plan is to build an interiors department to equal Octagon’s highly revered architectural and design office, which now teams eleven members of staff.

Joining Octagon Interiors this month is Daniella Riley, another consummate professional who studied interior architecture at Brighton University. Graduating in 2011, followed by taking the interior design diploma at KLC, Daniella has worked for three UK interior design studios. From frequent visits to Saudi Arabi, to creating the Showhome in the tallest residential building in Canary Wharf, Daniella enjoyed a hugely varied and exciting role – whilst also working for both developers and private clients on the mansion-lined St George’s Hill Estate in Weybridge, Surrey.

The advantages of using Octagon’s in-house service became swiftly apparent to several clients moving into the developer’s flagship development Broadoaks Park in West Byfleet. They are feeling assured by the good working relationship between the interior design team and the other in-house departments who were involved in the construction of their new home.

It is saving clients valuable time, and the designers’ insider knowledge on design and space planning, ensuring the correct electrical positions are in place.

Tim Banks concludes,

‘Having Octagon, a trusted brand, to provide a seamless design, build and furnishing service to complete their new home, gives our clients both the confidence and comfort during what could have been a stressful and lengthy period. They know we can deliver a luxurious and timeless interior to complement the company’s superb build quality, and within an acceptable budget, saving new homeowners’ money on their furnishings and decorative details.’

The in-house design service is available to not only current Octagon clients, but also former ones in need of a gentle update for their beloved Octagon home.’
