A message from Tim Banks, CEO Octagon Developments

15/12/2020

This has been an extraordinary year for everybody, not least for the team at Octagon. Having quickly adapted to work safely through two lockdowns, we have managed to keep abreast of an unprecedented demand for their high quality individually designed properties, both from UK clients and significantly still a strong international buying sector.

Bishops Row in Fulham, the elegant terrace of nine supersized townhouses, are now all sold – and are looking magnificent. Meanwhile, one of a pair of houses in North London’s leafy Winchmore Hill has been reserved off plan and just 3 weeks after launching.

But most certainly the scene stealer is our flagship development Broadoaks Park, which launched last autumn. Currently counting 36 reservations, followed to date by 14 exchanges and 6 completions, the West Byfleet development keeps breaking its own records as we coast to the end of the year. With enquiry levels continuing to soar, we are pulling forward the release of Phase 3 to early in the New Year, which will coincide with the opening our stunning onsite Sales Suite.

For several years now, Octagon have been aware of the massive shortage of good quality housing in a wider, more accessible price range, and decided there is no better time to develop a new company to focus on this rapidly increasing sector. Called Chancery, our new brand will be building homes in well-connected areas, with the first development, Burnham Court in Buckinghamshire going live this month.

In view of all this increasing activity, I am delighted to announce the arrival of Jonathan Cranley, our new Sales and Marketing Director. Jonathan has been working within our industry for over 3 decades, and we welcome him to help deliver our exciting new plans and goals for 2021.

Finally, I would like to wish you and your families a well-deserved, enjoyable Christmas – and a safer, brighter and more prosperous New Year.
