It’s win, win, win for Octagon

As the nights draw in, the gongs come out in the housebuilding world.

Recent successes for Octagon at the glittering International Property Awards included a Five Star accolade for their ravishing interior design scheme at The Grove Villas, devised and installed by Sarah Ward, and two Highly Commended awards for Saddle Stones, the modern interpretation of a family mansion; Best Single Property and Best Show House Interior. NR Interiors, responsible for the memorable Saddle Stones decorative scheme and furnishings, were delighted to have been singled out for their first Octagon project.

The company also added to their trophy cabinet at the prestigious What House? Awards, perhaps the most fiercely contested event in the industry calendar, where The Grove Villas received a Best Exterior Design award.

It is always great for Octagon to win awards for their buildings, but perhaps even more so, when an individual from the company is singled out for special recognition – this is exactly what happened at the Annual NHBC Pride in the Job Awards, probably the biggest and most sought after gongs in the construction industry. John Cuffe, Site Director for The Grove Villas development in Highgate Village won Seal of Excellence and Overall Winner for London, a wonderful double accolade. He now goes through to the Pride in the Job finals, taking place in January 2016, when the nationwide winner will be announced.
