Octagon’s first development in Windsor, with just one remaining property for sale, has caught the judges’ eye, having received not one, but two awards within a short space of time.

First up at The Bricks Awards, the prestigious annual event organised by LABC (Local Authority Building Control), where they went on a nationwide search to find the best in build quality and site management, Long Walk Villas was announced Best Development of the Year for the 2-10 units category.

Stewart Eden, Surveyor and Ron Taplin, Project Manager responsible for the development‘s build quality and site management, accepted the award at a star studded gathering in London’s West End.

Then the What House? Awards came along, the well known ‘Oscars’ of the building industry, where once again, Octagon were called to the rostrum, as Best Luxury Development was bestowed on Long Walk Villas. Here the judges commented that ‘the classic architectural detailing, from elegant brick exteriors and stone dressings to bespoke joinery is testament to a remarkable attention to detail’, and that the Development offers intelligently planned, flexible accommodation. The addition of integral garages, off street parking, and private roof terraces with far reaching views of Windsor Great Park and the Royal Castle made these homes winning material.

The last remaining house at Long Walk Villas, Number Four, has a contemporary kitchen fitted with top of the range Miele appliances and bespoke handcrafted units, including an informal eating area which extends into a spacious family room. A separate utility room has direct door access to the integral garage, and there is an adjoining guest WC cloakroom.
