First up were the Evening Standard Awards, where both industry profetssionals and Evening Standard readers take their seats on the judging panel. Octagon walked away with a win for their flagship development at Wall Hall, in Hertfordshire, for Best Conversion of the magnificent Grade II listed mansion, which now offers 7 wonderfully different homes behind its fairytale crenulated façade.

They have also been made Regional Winner in the South East Local Authority Awards for a large new mansion on the exclusive St Georges Hill Estate, and look forward to going forward this Autumn to the national finals.

Another worthy win was for Steve Dunn, the highly respected project manager who oversees many of Octagon's historic and listed conversions. He received 'Pride in the Job' from the NHBC for his work on Gordon House, a Victorian Gothic 12,000 sq ft mansion bordering the Thames at Richmond. Steve is also being put forward for the regional finals, which take place in September.

And there are more in the pipeline, as Octagon were informed they are finalists in the Mail on Sunday British Homes Awards due to be announced in September for both Wall Hall Mansion and their latest £6.5m dream palace in Old Avenue, St Georges Hill.
